I had the concept for this image brewing since the start of lockdown in the UK, when everyone was panic buying hand sanitiser and other essentials. I was really disappointed to see so much greed and individualism around me and strongly felt the need to express that.
Through this image I set out to make a statement about individualism, loneliness, mental health, fear, greed, and that deep craving for intimacy that lockdown is depriving us of. I just really hope that others can relate to something in this image enough to perhaps feel less alone in these unprecedented times.”
