Restriction can be an amazing ingredient in creativity. There are so many amazing physiopoetry opportunities around my building that I probably would have never seen without having to be inside all the time. I am grateful for this time I’ve been given. It allows me to widen my perspective and see what’s right in front of me in new ways. It’s also true that we don’t have any control over this situation, the virus, and so we have to take what we are given and keep on living. This is one of the ways I’m choosing to do it—to let these restrictions open windows of creativity in me around the spaces where I live.”
